April 2006: Our family of 5 stayed in
the Vallejo and Jack London rooms, adjoining rooms in
the owners cottage. The grounds were lovely, a good bit
of room for the kids to run around. Very clean rooms,
ours were spacious and comfortable. The common room was
always open with supplies for a cup of coffee or tea.
Breakfast was delicious ... Convenient location to several
wineries and good food down the road at the Glen Ellen
Inn. Excellent gourmet market less than a mile away --
grab some takeout from there and eat dinner on the terrace
-- a great option when the kids have had enough of the
restaurant scene. We would go back.
